Attention all Ad Directors and Publishers!!
Are you looking for new ideas for 2009? Has your staff created a new page or special edition this past year that really grabbed the attention of your advertisers? If so, we want to hear from you.
This year instead of having the idea exchange session at the MNA Convention, we are creating an idea exchange packet. We are compiling new ideas from across the state to share with other newspapers. There is only one catch – we need you to submit.
We are asking you to submit a short write up about the new special edition or project your paper did this past year. Nothing extensive, just the main details: What the project was, who you targeted, tips for selling it and the revenue it produced.
Fill out the attached form and send it to MNA, fax 612-342-2958 or e-mail lisa@mna.org. MNA will compile all of the new ideas and if you submitted an idea, you can pick up your packet of new ideas at the MNA convention at the member services booth. If you submit an idea and are unable to attend the convention, we will e-mail you a packet.
This will give your paper plenty of revenue increasing ideas for 2009 and allow you to attend more sessions at MNA!
